1) Lashkar-e-taiba : LeT is one of the largest Islamic organisation in South Asia . It was founded in 1987 by HAFIZ SAEED , ABDULLAH AZZAM and ZAFFAR IQBAL with funding from Osama bin Laden. Its stated objective is to introduce an extremist Islamic state in South Asia and to terrorise the people residing in Kashmir. Banned by PAKISTAN , INDIA , US , UK , RUSSIA , EUROPEAN UNION under the UNSC resolution 1267 Al-Qaida sanctions list.
2) Jaish-e-mohammed : JeM means " The Army Of Muhammad " , a Pakistan based Deobandi jihadist Islamic terrorist group active in Kashmir. The group's primary motive is to separate Kashmir from India and merge it into Pakistan.
3) Al-Qaida : It is a transnational extremist saiafist military organisation founded in 1988 by Osama bin Laden, Abdullah AZZAM and others during Soviet Afghan war. The organisation is designated as a terrorist group by UNSC , NATO , EUROPEAN UNION, US , INDIA , UK , RUSSIA and others.
4) Tehrik-i-taliban in Pakistan : TTP also Pakistani Taliban , is a radical terrorist armed group which is an umbrella organisation of various militant groups based along the Afghan- Pakistan border. Mullah Fazullah became the group's leader in late 2013.
Now , 25 th report of analytical support and sanctions monitoring team concerning ISIL , Al-Qaida was submitted to UNSC . UN report said that about 6500 Pakistani's as foreign terrorist fighters are present in Afghanistan including 1000 belonging to Pakistan based terror group's like JeM , LeT . Most of JeM , LeT are co-located with Taliban fighters and are hand in a glove with them.
Also LeT , JeM were stated to have approx 800 to 500 armed fighters , co-located in Nangarhar province , TTP also has presence in Lal Pura District.
The report said , " Network operate in Nangarhar and into Pakistan " ,happened with support of security officials who profits from smuggling drugs . Main source of income is heroin drug , the report stated .
MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said , Pakistan has failed in fulfilling its intentional obligations, including under relevant UNSC resolution and FATF , to put an end to support terrorism .
