Believing to its plan or ideas of reforms one can definitely place him No. 1 in this world . But is his reforms really No. 1 . If I start from the beginning of his term the biggest monetary shock to the economy Demonetisation .
1. The media, which mounted a sustained campaign against the previous government’s alleged scams, allowed the present government to go unscathed even after such a worse blunder called demonetisation that plunged the country’s economy into turmoil, forced the entire population (barring a minor section of the rich and powerful) into queuing for hours before banks to get their own hard-earned money, forced lakhs of labourers to migrate from their work places in cities back to their villages, compelled parents to postpone marriages of their daughters/sons, forced many people to beg for cremation of their own near and dear ones in spite of the fact that they had money in their banks.
2. Minimum government and maximum governance . Best idea but still in counting to get green flag from the government . Lack of intellectuals or bureaucrats can be done if the remaining our with 90% of their efficiency . Great idea but yet to implement.
3.PRIVATISATION , the government has done one thing in privatisation putting money in their own pocket from their own pocket. The privatisation of India's navratna and bharatratna companies still struggling to attract big investors . Hoping in coming years after , Covid 19 we will see some major changes.
4. INSOLVENCY AND BANKRUPTCY CODE , for this I praise the modi government as it was a mandatory reform which idea wanted , a in india filling of a business is seen as a shame and it is less talk about .
5. GST , major reform in India's tax structure . The GST network has helped government in governing over the MSME sector , and also simplified the tax structure for common people . Also another plus point but remember it also got amended once because of poor regulations .
